Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I send a speaking invitation?
For conferences and international events, reach out at least two to three months ahead so travel and preparation can be planned. Talks and seminars in Seoul can often be arranged within a few weeks depending on availability.
What kinds of research collaboration are you open to?
Joint research, institutional partnerships, and academic exchange in nanoscience, green chemistry, and related fields — particularly work connecting research institutions across Africa and Korea. Use the Research Collaboration tab with details on your institution and area of interest.
Which languages can I write in?
English and Korean are both fully supported. Messages in other languages are also welcome — they'll be translated as needed.
Is JAFTER available for public diplomacy or policy events?
Yes — diplomatic engagements, invited talks, and panels on Africa–Korea relations, science diplomacy, and youth-led innovation are all welcome. Use the Speaking tab and include your event's timeline and audience.
